After getting the laptop for nearly $3k getting the mouse/headset/backpack/chair was like...why not?

SUPER happy with the laptop itself. ONLY gripe I have is the lack of IO.

The mouse is..not great.

The headset sounds great but the style is pretty strange and the metal construction makes it really stiff which I guess is good but makes it feel strange.

Backpack is...a backpack.

The chair is SUPER nice.

Really happy with the setup.

Been troubleshooting with Microsoft for a couple of weeks, throwing all kinds of stress tests at it, but it really only consistently happens with that game. Installed and reinstalled it a few times, on different drives, ended up installing a fresh version of W10 after repartitioning the boot drive but no luck. I may or may not install this thing...

Son of a biscuit! I knew I should have asked here first. It may be too early to declare victory but I've been playing for 2 hours without crashing now. Limited frames to 60 in the Nvidia control panel and in game and so far so hoopy.

No complaints. I do get a warning in the Oculus app on the laptop telling me it's not compatible. Everything seems to work fine though.

This particular laptop only has :

Ports
1 USB 3.2 Gen 1 port with PowerShare
1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C® port with DisplayPort™ and Power Delivery
1 Thunderbolt™ 4 port with DisplayPort™ and Power Delivery

So no 45. You get an adapter that is Type-C for 45.

So that takes up a C and then if your wired with the Oculus that's another Type-C. So that only leaves a Type-A open. And if you are using a headset that is Type-A you have NO other IO options.

It's not a big deal but I do notice it when I am unplugging my wireless mouse to plug in my headset. Just an extra step that is annoying.

Bonus: The laptop screams so loud that I can pause the game I am in and listen to where the laptop is to figure out where I am in relation to where it is.
