but i think the biggest features already happened. ice cube maker, water dispenser with filter .. i don't really need much more from my fridge. I really don't understand the smart features that these fridges have or why people are so desperate to throw big dollars away on them
I dont think people are buying them for the smart features. Other than the temp control(in multiple spots for veges, lunch meat) I dont use any smart features.
This one would just fit perfect in the kitchen and the ice chips would be amazing. I dont drink anything without ice so thats a major thing for me. My current fridge has a ice maker and it crushes it, but it aint no ice chips
Not to mention the space and organization that it offers over a normal fridge. Theres nothing wrong with my current fridge but we can always upgrade our lives

we rarely (if ever) put ice into anything, so there's that. But, as usual, if you have them dollaritos to blow, go for it.

This is the fridge my wife wanted:
https://www.samsung.com/us/home-appl...f27t5501sg-aa/
I say wanted because we are both reasonable people and we know the screen is just a gimmick that we will use once maybe twice and never touch again.
This fridge looks good and she gets a discount since she's a professor:

I have this fridge and actually get a lot out of having the features...
Couple of things I use it for...
Check the weather.
Set timers for cooking.
Play music.
When the kids come over they draw on the screen and save them to memory.
The kids also play a lot of card games and they will use the screen to track their scores as they play.
It has Alexa now and I ask it all kinds of questions as well.
We buy some things in bulk from Sam's and don't want the large box taking a lot of room up in the freezer so we trash the box and add a note to the fridge on cooking times for those items.
It alerts my phone when someone leaves the door open(actually it alerts my phone, TV, watch, and fridge when the door is left open haha) which I seem to be doing more often these days...
And that's just off the top of my head...
When I bought it I was wondering if I would actually use it...turns out I use it more than I thought I would.

Lemon law'd it and got my money back and bought the cheapest Best Buy Insignia fridge ($499) that was half the price of the GE and it's happily keeping my stuff cold in my garage even when it's below freezing outside.

thinking about buying either a titanlabs evo 2022 series or something similar from noblechairs. Is the evo 2022 worth the higher price compared to the 2020 model?

GE had a major manufacturing issue and just couldn't get the epoxy right on the cooling coil joints and all of the coolant continually evaporated away.

After years of meh headphones with bad build quality and irritation (ton of plastic that's wearing out and doesn't stay adjusted), I discovered that the mike on my latest set wasn't working so I couldn't conference call from home. Gave me a good excuse to upgrade.
Build and sound quality between the EPOS H6Pro and my old Sennheiser PC320 is night and day. I'm pretty happy. Head clamp tightness is much higher... good in that it won't be slipping off my head, but will take a little getting used to the pressure along my jawline.
Sounds great though... the sound is so much fuller and crisper in comparison, particularly on the low end. Now I just need to decide if I'm going to spring for DTS Headphones X or stick with Windows Sonic. From what I'm reading, I'll probably do it.

The mike is attached magnetically and can be popped off if you don't want it around, they have a magnetic blank that goes over the mounting pt. Ear cups pivot top/bottom and forward/back to align with your head and slide up/down along a metal railing (also black.)
All in all, it's pretty sweet if you're looking for a set of quality headphones that won't break the bank (shortly past this the prices start increasing rapidly as you veer into audiophile territory, not that this was cheap.) No glowing lights, no Razer logo, no multi-driver 7.1, just a sophisticated-looking solid set of cans. Metal construction gives me some hope that it won't break down the way some previous phones have.Last edited by koralis; Feb 6, 2022, 04:52 AM.A hobbiest foundry and forge in progress, plans, suppliers, showcasing ideas

First off there is a key bit of housekeeping to make you aware of: Sennheiser headsets will now be sold under the EPOS brand name. After a de-merger in 2020 (explained here), the products were sold under the 'EPOS | Sennheiser' mantle, but now, if you're looking for a Sennheiser gaming headset, you'll actually be purchasing an EPOS gaming headset in the end. Do not let this put you off in any way, however: the Sennheiser quality and reputation remains, and is enhanced through EPOS's input. We've tested some newly refreshed dual-branded headsets, as well as some that only have the EPOS name, and we can categorically say that re actually in the middle of re-testing some familiar models that are now under the new dual-branded guise, so you can expect to see them crop up here very soon.
Anyway, while Sennheiser gaming headsets - and EPOS gaming headsets, fort hat matter, now - are not the flashiest or most feature-filled products on the market (like Razer headsets, for example), they benefit from being made by and for audio purists who want gaming audio execution matched by none. The design and build oozes quality, too; what's the point of great sound if you can't be comfortable wearing the headset?
Their premium nature does often demand a premium price tag, but if any cans justify the investment, it's Sennheiser gaming headsets. They'll last for ages with that solid design and build, their audio quality is timeless, and with some amazing wireless entries to complement wired, multi-device headsets, there's a healthy range to pick from. You will not be disappointed - and if anything goes wrong you're covered by their generous two-year warranty.A hobbiest foundry and forge in progress, plans, suppliers, showcasing ideas
