                                          Unnecessary story: I tried listening to the album that contains this track on the way to work but Spotify has a new behavior that if you tap a track in an album it will only play that track and then go back to your playlist. This really messed me up as I was driving, trying to safely bring it back to the album until I just tapped the track (without experiencing the context from the album!) and listened.

                                          I agree with "Might be just you." It's an interesting track for sure. Love the bagpipes and the general sound, but it doesn't hook me. I'll give it a 3rd try tomorrow.

                                            You listened to the whole album? I mean....Through Silver In Blood is one of my all time favorite albums and Neurosis is my favorite band..so that be cool. Yeah, I have a a bad habit of assuming that every thing I listen to is influenced by them (which there is alot). Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, I know some folks don't like their approach to vocals, and not alot of hooks or catchiness, almost more soundscape oriented, but I really dig it.

                                                I listened to the first track. Some of the slowness reminded me of My Dying Bride, but not nearly as repetitive. Listened to the second track, which was pure sound for two minutes. Then I listened to Purify, which reminded me more of Summoning. I only listened to it the one time though, and from that, it seems there is more to hear (so I will listen again).

                                                Spotify has stopped feeding me good music so I'm always on the lookout.
