Garth Merenghi quotes
Most of you will probably know me already from my extensive canon of chillers including "Afterbirth" in which a mutated placenta attacks Bristol.
Everyone has a special talent. Mine is being able to write, produce direct, act, paint... Other people are good plumbers, that's their gift.
There are rebels and there are innovators. I'm a rebel. I play a rebel brain expert who's in rebelliance against conventional logic, who's in rebelliance against the world order. It's about rebelliance. And if that's not being an innovator, I don't know what is.
In times of conflict, when you're up against an agressor, be he human, be he inhuman, whoe'er he be, often he is both.
Greetings traveller. Who am I? Perhaps you have met me twixt sleep and and wake - in the penumbra of uncertainity you call unconsiousness... you know, my books are essentialy about "what ifs". In "Black Fang" I asked - what if a rat could drive a bus? And what if it and its rat brethren took over and ate Parliment?
A lot of people say "Garth Merenghi? Doesn't he write that horror crap?" Well, you're an idiot, because my books always say something, even if it's simple like "Don't geneticaly engineer crabs to be as big as man". There's always a message or a theme.

I always get kick out how ordinary the people look making these pretty bleak orchestral bits for septic flesh, be cool see their reaction to final album.

They played tracks from various albums there. None is made better by that treatment imo btw, including Phoenix which also has a different version to the one I posted, with more choir. Still interesting though and Mother North has an epic ending. My 40nm path  HIS HD 5850 -> GIGABYTE GTX 470 -> ZOTAC GTX 480 -> HIS HD [email protected] -> MSI GTX 570 -> ZOTAC GTX 470 -> PNY GTX 580

I'm desperate.
I'm looking for a song. I don't know the title or any lyrics ... otherwise I would have used that already.
This dance/club song is from the late 1990s or the early 2000s. The music video has one sexy lady dressed in what could be (here my memory also fails me) either school uniform or funky 80s bright coloured clothing. She is basically breakdancing on the sidewalks of a bustling inner city.
It has an addictive rhythm and beat and the male singer has a high pitched voice almost like Prince had.
Sorry ... this is all I have.
It has a simple title maybe like: Jump up or step up or pump up ... but that hasn't worked out for me yet. Maybe my google-fu is not strong enough.Day 7 without brandy and coke and I'm starting to lose hearing in my left eye.

I might check that out, I was bit turned off by the title when I first heard of the release (I assumed they were cashing in on covid), but appears that was just coincidental and it conceptually relates to vector (which I haven't listened to)
I'll admit, I've struggled to get into them. I listened to the album The Mountain , and seemed like kind of messy melting pot of wankery (prog, jazz, djent, symphonic, queen influenced....). Though I'm definitely hypocrite there, as plenty of other bands that fall into that category that I do like, but maybe its that other bands aren't as adventurous. Still no doubt they're talented.

Okay my definitions aren't that accurate ...
Do you think you would have found it eventually or were my leads just too vague?
And also what do you think of the track?Day 7 without brandy and coke and I'm starting to lose hearing in my left eye.
