Resident Evil 2!!!!!!

The RE movie had nothing to do with the original RE. Look im a big RE buff. Ive played just about all of them. Even that pos RE: Survivor. Heck Claire Redfield wasnt till the RE2 video game. It should have been Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine in a mansion. Anyway the best RE game was the second one. I played it 4 times. :P... so they better not ruin RE2. Because the first RE movie was terrible. Such a B flick its not even funny, I tried watching it and I had to turn it off. Story... wait there wasnt one.. acting... you mean you have to act in a movie?

Blood and gore isnt good enough for me, I actually have to care about the characters and the storyline for it to matter.

I liked the first movie but the main problem for me is that there was not enough blood... Couldn't get past that "mistake" from the directors.

I liked the first movie, and by god I'll probably like the second one too. I'm glad it didn't follow the plot of the videogame. If it did then everyone would have known what was going to happen. I just hope this one has more zombies and less other monsters because zombies are the backbone of American cinema.

From what I know, Paul W.S. "Liu Kang's Mullet is Attractive" Anderson is producing it this time, with, I believe a writing credit. Another person is supposed to be directing it.

Resident Evil, the movie, was entertaining but predictable. It wasn't really much of a zombie movie though, at least not in the traditional sense (Romero, Fulci, etc.). A horror action movie, like some of these new horror movies (Jason vs. Freddy) Linking it to the games makes the movie worse.

Here's hope that RE2 will be better.

That didn't bother me much, I just took it as something different but using a couple of the same ideas... but yeah, that's why a couple people ended up not liking it... for some reason I loved it...

Exactly, I was just saying that's why a lot of people got hung up... they were complaining about what did or did not take place withen the game universe... Then others went in with an open mind and still weren't to fond of it (i.e. you). I don't know why I loved it so. I saw it the first time and was hooked... it was like crack or heroin... I knew it was supposed to be bad, but it was just so damn good! And like you said, to each his own , glad to see they're coming out with a 2nd one... I need my fix.

I just want to state that i went into the film because it was a zombie flick not because of the game but i just didn't like it my point being is that zombie films have been done before and much better than this. (To each there own)

The first movie kicked ass... the only thing that really seemed to hang most people up was that they went into it with only the video game in mind... Just take it for the zombie movie it is and leave it for that. In that respect I loved it... and pretty much everyone I showed it to did also...

Same here. I saw the first on in the theater, and found it to be VERY entertaining. Im looking forward to this. I also love the fact that the trailer ended where the first one left off, with her in the street.

YES!!! I've just seen the preview in the movies (before Underworld) and that movie looks ****ing awesome!!!
