GeForce Gamers: Get ready for New Games; Get a Shot at $100k in Prizes!

Just saw that Brian Burke from Nvidia has posted some news about the upcoming holiday game releases and game ready drivers. There are also prize giveaways worth 100K!

The holiday gaming feast begins Friday with the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops III. This kicks off the November-December gaming deluge. GeForce gamers will be Game Ready with today’s release of our latest Game Ready Driver for Call of Duty: Black Ops III.

NVIDIA is taking it a step further and committing to GeForce gamers that we will deliver Game Ready driver support on or before launch day for the top titles this holiday season. These include (but aren’t limited to):
    • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
    • Call of Duty: Black Ops III
    • Civilization Online
    • Fallout 4
    • Just Cause 3
    • Monster Hunter Online
    • Overwatch
    • RollerCoaster Tycoon World
    • StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void
    • Star Wars: Battlefront
    • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
    • War Thunder

Game Ready isn’t just a catchphrase at NVIDIA. It’s our promise to gamers that GeForce will provide the best possible experience at launch for your game.

We introduced our Game Ready drivers program two years ago. Rather than release drivers according to arbitrary timetables, our timelines for drivers are in lockstep with major game releases. When a new game hits, we release a Game Ready driver for that title right before it launches.

Getting Game Ready requires careful coordination with developers and precise planning of internal resources. When a game “goes gold,” we ratchet up our work. Our driver team looks for every performance tweak and bug fix and works until the 11th hour to get them into our Game Ready driver. Then we double check our work by getting each Game Ready driver WHQL certification from Microsoft.
    $100,000 in Prizes

We’re now offering over $100,000 in prizes to registered GeForce Experience users. Prizes include three of this year’s hottest titles, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate , Call of Duty: Black Ops III and a third title we can’t tell you about yet (but it’s awesome). Plus, we’re giving away GeForce GTX 980 Ti, GeForce GTX 960, GeForce GTX 950-based graphics cards and SHIELD Android TV boxes.

We know you can’t wait to explore post-apocalyptic Boston in Fallout 4, fight for the Empire or Rebellion in Star Wars: Battlefront or overthrow the Templars in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. So we’re working to help ensure your new favorite game is a great experience. Register through GeForce Experience to make sure you’re Game Ready.
