Apples next big thing?
All signs point to an iPhone 6S with a pressure sensitive screen. Rumors have already been swirling, the new version of iOS supports the feature, and now the ever-reliable Wall Street Journal is reporting that Apple's revving up to make up to 90 million of the new phones. A record number.
According to the Journal, Apple is working with manufacturers to assemble 80-90 million of the new phones by year-end, in both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch screen sizes. In line with previous rumors from historically spot-on 9to5Mac, WSJ's sources say the new phones (presumably the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus) will look virtually identical to the existing iPhone 6 and their new flagship feature will be the outwardly invisible inclusion of Force Touch.
