New From Google, an Ethernet Adapter for Chromecast

    Handy item I would think.

Wanna beef up your Chromecast’s streaming power? Google now sells a $15 hard-wired Ethernet adapter for the little thumb-drive-sized media streaming stick—or, at least, will soon sell it again, as it’s currently listed as out of stock in the Google hardware store. Keep an eye out for its return. You’ll never have to worry about your flaky Wi-Fi reception causing dropouts during a Kenny Loggins YouTube video marathon.

As soon as I read this headline I was all over it. We currently use one Chromecast in our house to stream video from a laptop to our bedroom TV and it's decent. Our media center area in the living room is wired though and I would like to have the same video streaming capability on that TV so this is the perfect solution. Ars Technica said the part sold out right away though so it may be awhile until any quantity is available.
Praise be to the God and father of our lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
