    Sleeping Dogs PC feature list, trailer, system requirements

    If you love a good crime game, you'll want to keep your eye on the PC version of Sleeping Dogs, which launches next week (August 17). As fate would have it, the game will host a variety of PC exclusive features, including a high resolution texture pack, improved depth of field, high quality shadow effects, SSAO, 3D support, Eyefinity and Surround support, and more.     System requirements are substantial, too, as you can see below.

    Minimum requirements
    • OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
    • Processor: Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz or Althon X2 2.4 GHz
    • RAM: 2GB
    • Graphic card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card, ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher
    • Graphics card memory: 512 MB
    • Sound card: DirectX compatible sound card
    • Hard drive: 15 GB
    Recommended system requirements
    • OS: Windows 7 64-bit
    • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
    • RAM: 4GB
    • Graphics card: DirectX 11 Nvidia or AMD ATI card, Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950
    • Graphics card memory: 1 GB
    • Sound card: DirectX compatible sound card
    • Hard drive: 15 GB

    At $45 I don't think it's going to sell too well. The gameplay looks like a watered down version of mirrors edge...and the graphics look like a DX9 game from 5-6 years ago. The fact thats it needs a 6950 to run good tells me it's just another poorly done console port.

            Yes, gameplay is plenty varied. Admittedly, they didn't choose the greatest gameplay to debut to PC people.
