Dishonored's PC UI and options revealed

Developer Arkane Studios wasn't lying or exaggerating when it strongly implied its stealth action game Dishonored would be PC optimized; an official look at the PC version is up on the Bethesda Blog, including some screenshots and details on PC options, and they're juicy.

    Here's what you get:

    - Auto saving option (implying quick saving exists)
    - UI options (turn off everything or just some things)
    - "Shortcut bar" (traditional PC hotkey bar)
    - Gamepad support
    - FOV slider
    - Controller and mouse sensitivity options
    - Auto aim strength and aim assist options (you'll want to turn these
    off)
    - Mouse smoothing and acceleration sliders and on/off options
    - Graphics options which include "full spectrum" of resolutions, AA, "various
    others"
Not bad at all. Here's hoping the performance matches the respectable feature set.

auto saving (checkpoints) is not a PC "optimization" quick saving (or saving anywhere) is, and i hope they have that option, the rest seams reasonably and should be on PC games from the start and not be presented has features.

Absolutely. My bad. Edited for clarity.

I agree these should be a given, but unfortunately it's not the world we live in, so it's important people know how much a game is affected by consoles (if at all), or just subpar development. Either way, it's good to know exactly what you're getting.
