Final Fantasy 7 re-releasing on PC with optimizations

JRPG Final Fantasy 7 is getting a second release on PC "soon", and according to publisher Square Enix, it will be "optimized" so you can "play [it] on the latest hardware". Whether or not this version will fix the wide variety of port-related issues and bugs the original release had remains to be seen.

System requirements are as follows:

Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7 (32/64-bit)
2GHz Processor or faster
1GB RAM
DirectX 9-compatible graphic card

It's exclusive to the Square Enix store, but rumors have been around for ages indicating it's coming to Steam, so that could just be temporary.

Thank god I sold my PC and bought into PS 3.
Gaming on all platforms is now dead. Console port on PC. Now were getting OLD console ports too PC. Dear dear ooh deary f****ing me. When will it all end.
