    Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm Fan Review @ Rage3D.com

    Our resident caveman attempts to quell the noise demons with Noctua's new NF-F12 PWM 120mm fans.

    Noctua's engineers have slaved over their new NF-F12 PWM 120mm fan for two years, creating a focused flow fan for pressure sensitive applications - like AMD's FX Liquid Cooling system. Can an overclocked FX processor be tamed with a self contained cooling system and quiet fans?

      Any plans to review Cougar PWM fans?

      I've had interest in those, and would be cool to compare them with the Noctuas.

                  a) Why are their fans so f'ing ugly? I wouldn't get one mainly for that reason...

                  b) Why is there no Discuss link on the bottom of the page at the end of the article?

                    Meh, I haven't had a case w/ a window in about 10yrs, so looks don't matter to me. But it remains an odd color choice.

                        But I had to go some extra steps to FIND the discussion

                        I've had the same case for like... 6 or 7 years now (the original cm stacker) and I've got the side window on it with some blue lighting bs in there. But even if I didn't have the window, it'd still aggravate me with that color when I opened it up to clean it. God only knows how they came up with the idea for such an ugly color scheme.

                          I have to agree with metalcore on this - just hideous coloring. Granted I don't have a side panel to see my computer guts but just knowing it was in there would bother me. Why don't they make other color options like most other fan makers do?

                            I like the colors. At first I hated the contrast with my other components, now I'm kinda sad that I can't color code but the performance and engineering outweigh the color to me.

                              I have nothing a lot of noctuas in my system I think they look just fine.
