Viewing some threads from notifications menu don't work

So I noticed that when trying to view threads that have new responses via the notifications page, some threads fail to load. For example, thread "Gotham Knights the next Batman? - Oh Indeed" returns "Sorry, you are not authorized to view this page. For assistance contact the site administrator" This last example happened at 5:38pm AEST today. You may find details from the logs.

This occasionally happens, not reproducible 100% of the time.

Does the problem only crop up with particular forums, or does it happen everywhere?

I’m only seeing this occasionally, when trying to view some threads from Notification Center. I don’t see it navigating other areas. I only remember the Gotham knights thread causing this but it’s not consistent.

I think this has been happening on desktop only, not on my Iphone. I’ll let you know if the phone does it too.

I’ll provide more details if it continues.

Anyone else have issues? Please let us know. I'm curious as well.

Try post something in the gotham knights thread and I’ll test it on desktop.

So I triggered the issue again but this time it appears to be happening for threads that had responses by some shifty new account whose posts have been deleted now. This previously happened when a long time member responded though. I wonder if the long time member deleted their post yet the notifications also remained in the notifications centre as I see here. Maybe notifications should update if posts are deleted?

These 3 threads will trigger that message

Happens to me all the time. But that might be because they selectively ban me from threads...

Thats probably because the post was deleted. If it was one of those Jimmy posts, it makes allot of sense. Odd behaviour though :\

Can't access the Message Center from the upper right but I can use my profile and settings just fine.
