    Inspired by 1920x1080i-How???

So anyway, that guy is incredible, so I thought about any other computers I could get working away.. I came up with these

    (2)Celeron 633/PII 350/PII 266/PIII 800/

that is in addition to what I am already running

    (2)PIII 1000 / P4 1.7 / AthlonXP 1700+ / PIII 800 / (2) Celeron 400 / PIII 700 / Celeron 566 and a K6-2 450

Total Processing power... 11398 If I could get proxy working reliably with the console I could add 5 or 6 more, but it has been hit or miss...

            Bleh...not yet.

Gotta do a huge upgrade on my machine this year (Athlon XP 1900+, 512mb, GeForce3 Ti500)

And will be left penniless after that.

I assume that machine will be folding, so I don't see the problem.

Hmm I have enough spare parts around here to make ANOTHER machine. That would make three I built in one week. Unfortunately the only processor I have left is a K6-2 333. But I could punch it up to 450-500. Not sure if it would even be worth it. My Overclocked 400 at 500, is folding VERY SLOWWWWW!

It's all worth it as long as it's faster than a cele 500 folding part time.

I was also sort of "inspired" The only other computers at my house is a PII 266 and a pentium 300mmx (laptop), yup my good ol' pentium 300 (remembering the high school days). Now they are both hard at work. I figure it will take about a week for the pentium to finish one of those big WU, but every little bit counts huh?

You might look at oc'ing them, or putting them on the genome team, cuz it might time out for responses before your comp gives the data back.

They base the timeouts (and the points) off how fast a celeron 500 can process them, working like 8-12 hrs a day.

OMG, my pentium 300mmx is finishing one frame in 25 mins (bba5_build_ext, 100 frames, 500000 dynamic steps). It could be the protein but still, it will be done folding that protein in two days! I'm just surprised...

I did try to overclock my PII266 w/o no success (its a toshiba infinia).

I know from experience that a 300 can finish in time.
