    Added a few more machines...

Even though they won't be running 24/7, at least they will give us a little bit more power when they are on.

    Added a XP1900+ and a good ole K6-2 400 Overclocked to 500.

    So my total machines are...

    1 1.4 Athlon
    1 1900+
And that kick ass K6-2 500!

You have a good amount of total folding power. You'd be nothing without that K6-2.

Hey BiteMe - do you overclock any of your computers?

I had to lower most of my machines by about 100MHz or more when the temperature here in AZ went up. I can't believe how an ambient temp difference of only 5 degrees can make all the difference on overclocking stability.

I will always have a spot in my heart for my K6-2 that is now the posession of my kids. I think I've just been inspired to have it join the fold-a-thon.

Think it's worth oc'ing my k6-2 500 to a 550? I think that's as high as the mobo will take it.

Yea I overclock my puters as much as they will remain stable. I might overclock a friends a wee bit. The systems I sell do NOT get overclocked.

Since my puters are inside the temp difference here has little effect. Spend a little money and get an air conditioner.

If it will do it and remain stable SURE.

I'm sure it will...heck, the cpu took being overvolted by 1.1v (cuz I was too dumb to know that the k6 250 was higher volted)

you guys realize for about 6 grand, we could build us a stack of 10 dual athlon 1.4ghz

that would get us about 1,000 points a week hehe

maybe we should setup a paypal account

Hehe, am I crazy or what? Here I sit at my office with four PIII machines that actually do everything we need. (Word processing, simple spreadsheets, etc) But, I find myself wanting to upgrade these machines.......to increase our folding power! I went and checked, but this is not included in my business plan at all.
