v2.19 > older versions?

Any chance when upgrading from 2.14 to 2.19 that 2.19 simply dislikes the current queue or wu in progress? I've noticed that I've been unable to send quite a few wu's in lately, so I upped to 2.19... well... lets say it had a hissy.

The bad - i lost a lot of WU!
The good - looks like the new ones are being sent in!
The ugly - I found I was somehow sending in WU to a different team still! - ACK!

-edit- BTW I still ONLY use the console... it's nice and doesn't intrude on anything.
-edit edit- Also, it appears that v2.19 seems a shipload (shiPload?) quicker than v2.14... is that possible?
-edit edit edit- Hmm, has anyone found that adding memory helps? ie going from 256meg to a gig? I'm doing that on 4 duals...

I noticed when I switched a few machines to 2.19 the first time it deleted stuff in the 'Q', but due to a power outage last night I needed to restart & on one machine that was running 2.17 I ran 2.19...same delete process, but this time it d/l a core_C8 ?? then wouldn't get work.....so I shut it down & ran the 2.17, which picked up from the checkpoint.....that left me confused as ever since I thought 2.19 had deleted all the previous work

I understand 2.19 was supposed to be optimized a bit....can't help with the memory question, I'm using 98se & have 256 or 384 in the systems....

My 3rd console had that problem...it would sit there, dl core_8, be unable to find the uncompressed version, re-dl it, be unable to find the uncompressed version...et cetera ad nauseum.

I finally just deleted it and went on from there.
