Gents what's your reference point? BTC is still up 163% this year to date - compare that to 18% YTD for the Dow Jones. And what's your definition of a crash? BTC was at $5k in April 2020. And it was almost half of what is now just 5 months ago. If you invested in July 2021 you'd still have almost double your investment. Give me that kind of 'loss' any day.

Also for gays on here who are pushing the Gs on NBMiner just turn that shite down. I was seeing my CPU constantly at 25% utilization but since I turned that off my CPU temps are back to normal around 45-50C. This thing was pushing it to over 80 C at times.

Also, I am HODLing this forever. I put 15K juices in it and I am keeping it. Staking the coin as well so it's ok. Also still mining like a champ.

Staking is key. $FTM is my most reputable to high staking ratio investment. Staking yields are insane in many places so any losses don't matter

After the eth merge I expect small potato holders to stake coins in pools to try and get some gains that way. I sometimes wonder about how secure that is going to be.

Being a validator would be awesome but I don't have over 120,000 in usd just sitting around looking for a home.

You can stake BTC but I don't.. places like Celsius will let you stake. Voyager too. But % on BTC is low.

I'm still up 12x on $LUNA .. 10x up on $SOL so when it goes down it matters now. The airdrops on $LUNA are insane when you stake.

ethereum is trying to go proof of stake that is not as much GPU dependent for the environment

mining doesn't like the infinity cache and smaller memory bus

This is true up to a point. 62MH out of a $1300 6800 isn't necessarily all that far off from what you get out of a 3000 series LHR card right now for similar money. Sure you can get double that out of a 3090 but unless you get an FE you're paying $1900+. Also the power consumption per MH on the Nvidia stuff isn't really that much better either.

Market is in a big selloff right now and I hope it totally tanks. I would love to get some nice rewards the last 5 months of mining. We could use a huge selloff so the network hash rate finally takes a dip the other direction.

The best mining cards right now are 3070 and maybe AMD 5700. A 3070 FHR at 1000 bucks mines at 60-62 MH/s and the 5700 at about 700 can mine up to 52-54 MH/s. Both at about 120 watts or so. Again talking about price perf ratio and not perf per watt ratio.

LHR? Who buys that crap! None of my cards are LHR. The original 3060ti and 3070 had same Hashrate. Approx 62mh/s for eth. 3060ti just cost less and needed a tad less power.
