Why did you flash an AMD card? I don’t get it. AMD hasn’t needed a flash since I think 9700 and X800XT days or something. Maybe I am out of touch.

BIOS flashing 5600/5700 cards is a thing for ETH mining and has been for a while. Gains at least 4 MH.

Far as what happened with this reference card best guess would be that it did take the flash correctly but at some point the BIOS became corrupted, probably the last time the miner crashed. When the rig rebooted after that, it was trashed.

For ETH yes, the 5700 > 6700xt. This is due to memory bandwidth.

So far if you look at the grand picture, the trend is slowly down. I think we're in the bear market for quite some time now.

For those in Ontario, Canada fyi Binance and a few other exchanges have been banned. You will no longer be able to trade/buy but it says you should be able to withdraw any coins until end of the year. This is coming to a province near you.

Dunno KAC, $ergo looks like a new mining contender. Might be mining well into 2023 and beyond. You can have the 3090s in a few years when they're bottom of the barrel.

3090 is 120MH/S minimum. Sounds like you left it at stock. That's wasting more power and heat for less ETH in your pocket.

That seems high, I use 240 Watts max. Really should used use normal nicehash and msi afterburner.

Also it's about 30-35usd depending on bitcoin, now? No more like 30 as. It's just dropped some more, otherwise past few. Weeks I was making a lot as the price kept fluctuating.

I know it's better in Linux but even in Win10 with nicehash and afterburner I'm ~273W and 121mh/s on my 3090s. Settings depend on the card. I have mem at +1000 to +1200. Core -400

I don’t run higher memory. I run -500 on core. What power are you giving in afterburner. Maybe I can reduce it as I am using 100 power but then lowering it using Nicehash.

My memory starts hitting 110 C if I overclock it. This is with all the extra thermal pads I put on it .

Me memory. Is around 86'c, sometimes more or less depending on ambient temp. (also changed thermal pads)

Also my memory craps out at 950 in benches so most I will clock it is possibly 650-700 MHz.

For 3090 power is from 75-85% depending on card.
3080 from 68-75%.
3060ti/3070 I have at 55%. I've heard it can go lower but not in windows.

I also find what max mem OC is for all the cards and back waaay off. I don't need the 2mh/s extra just to kill the card
