What sols/s are you getting on equihash?
785 sols/s using nicehash on equihash.

That is a good result. You generally have to overclock a 1080ti to the MAX to get that many sol/s. I never got more than about 735 with mine.

These titans are pretty good. Mine are at 1950 core and haven't yet found the limit. 100% TDP

Dave are you manually selecting what nicehash mines. I'm noticing that past 2 days something's not right. For example, wallet balance usd estimate will go up 1.30 after 8 hrs with 2 1080tis. That doesn't seem worth the effort lol.

Yes I've slowly been narrowing which algorithms my cards mine. I currently have them on Neoscrypt and Equihash. I hear Lyra2 is a good one as well.

What is this hdd mining thing?

Is it going to replace gpu mining or are we facing a future where we can't find any gpus or storage because YOU DIRTY MINERS already bought em all??!!

EWBF is a miner client for equihash. It's one of if not the best one. DSTM is the other one out there. EWBF is currently not being developed any more. DSTM is a little bit faster or at least reports a little better hash and is still being developed last I checked.

When I mined zcash I was using EWBF.

According to commits to Nice Hash Legacy they added initial support for the DTSM miner a couple days ago.

                      Did some tweaking. 1080 Ti's at 775 sols/s in Equihash. Titan Xp's up to 860 Sols/s

                        What tweaking?
Also, I think I am just going to be doing NiceHash on 3 GPUs and call it a day. It helps that at least 2 / 3 will be water cooled and already the STRIX runs like a champ at 61 C max mining load at 1949 MHz (default boost clocks).

Unless I get a payday, I am not investing any more in this crap.

Going to put me at 9 1080 Ti's and 2 Titan Xp's. At $7 a day per card (very conservative) that will be $77 a day, $2310 a month, $28,105 a year. The two 850 watt power supplies I ordered will be replacing the 1000Watt in my main computer and also replacing the 1000W in the Titan Xp system. 850 Watts will be plenty for those pc's and this rig will then be powered by 2 1000W power supplies (both Titanium grade). This will also allow me to take my main computer down to 1 card again and not look like Frankenstein monster with cables all over the place. I have a perfect spot for this rig to go with access to two power outlets that are on different 15A breakers. It should be whisper quiet too with all the cards being AIO cards. I've already figured out how much it will cost to run my air con 24/7, $210 a month, so summer shouldn't be a problem besides the increase in power cost. I would not be doing this if I wasn't paying $0.06 a KWH.

Not exactly cheap but sure beats $1200+

So I think the reason they are still in stock (20 left btw) is because a amazon search for "1080 ti" does not show these cards.

                                  Also you bought refurb cards?

                                    $7200 with tax.

The seller is a msi retailer selling refurbed cards sent back to msi. if you read their reviews all the products either look brand new or are infact brand new in retail boxes. They come witha 180 day msi warranty. good enough for me. if the cards are going to fail, they'll fail in that period.

Fact of the matter is, getting 1080 Ti's for this cheap (especially AIO cooled ones) is extremely rare.

I got 2 EVGA AIO for 819 a pop. Either way, I don't think I can do refurb since the 180 day is not valid internationally. Finally, how do you play to mount AIO on the case? Does it support it?

Also I am paying a ton of shipping and import fees on this crap .

Just a quick question. Isn't the motherboard asking for 3 PSU inputs?
Also isn't 1000 Watts less for 3 cards w/ AIO on top?

I have everything in my cart. Only second thoughts on graphics cards since AIOs have a habit of crapping out whenever they feel like.

I got the OK for a dual 1080ti Hybrid rig from the wife.

Now, I'm cheap as hell so I guess I'm waiting for EVGA to get 1080ti's back in stock.

$820 for the SC2 and $850 for the FTW.

I've never had luck with a FTW card. But I have only had 2 of them a long time ago.

motherboard supports up to 3 PSU's doesnt need 3 to power it.

and your second question doesnt make sense. 1080 Ti is 250Watts TDP, AIO or not.

This is what I get as well. Some spikes here and there into uncharted territory...but generally sits at .5500'ish mBTC/day or $6.23 right now at current Bitcoin value.

Also isn't 1000 Watts less for 3 cards w/ AIO on top?

I have everything in my cart. Only second thoughts on graphics cards since AIOs have a habit of crapping out whenever they feel like.
From what I remember, AIO doesn't take up that much power. About as much as a fan motor for the pump and an actual fan for the RAD.

1000 watts should be about right for 3 cards. Power is 280 per card with the EVGA AIO's. So you are at 840-ish for the cards.

Also, from what I have seen the AIO's don't have a higher failure rate than normal cards. Sure some people have some issues with the pump motors but some people have also put the radiators in the wrong place as well.

If you get a card be sure to get one with a nice warranty. That's why I go with EVGA. 3 year warranty is nice to have.

I went with the Asus board because its the brand I am most comfortable with and it having multiple ATX connectors on the board so I dont have to mess around with jumping PSU's to get them to power on. Also it was the same price as the other mining boards.
