Been six months since I shut my six vega64 rig down and sold it all.

The network hash for monero has remained around 320 mh/s since the last fork and market value has climbed recently high enough that combined it would now be worth it to run the rig again.

Still don't regret selling the parts. It would've been sitting collecting dust since late last December. Would still like to buy some more monero looks like it may be a while before it crashes.

"Exiting without a loss" is a good idea, as long as you're not liquidating the entire stash. Keep a little bit, just in case. You can safely store it somewhere, and forget about the whole thing for 5-10 years.

I cashed out monthly for almost a year to pay off my hardware, which has been paid off since November 2018. My plan went almost perfect - in the end I didn't pay a penny in interest over the 12 month loan and I was able to get the rig paid off just a couple months past my initial schedule.

So now that everything is paid off the plan is to hodl everything I mine (and have bought) for probably 5-10 years. Just got a Ledger Nano X for mobility, going to keep my Nano S in a safe.

Things are looking good; hopefully this will be a nice chunk of change for me to spend when I'm retired.
