So, I have something crazy going on with my excavator. It randomly restarts.

Yes, my PSU is on the way. Once it arrives, I will shift the hybrid in the rig case so that it mines without interruptions plus I can overclock the cards then.

I will keep the STRIX in my main rig for some light mining.

Btw I had forgotten that I had cards on sale and now 2 of them sold for 1307$ each. After ad expenses I will make about 1250 per card. I am wondering if I should sell the 2 and make 435 instant profit or mine the whole year and wait for bitcoin to rise lol.

Figured out what was going on. The card with the bad blower was tanking. Took it out and NiceHash is running like a charm.

Guess I won't be keeping it for an extra few days after all...

I'm tempted to sell them myself considering the crap returns currently and how much these cards are selling for - but I don't think I'm going to, I put in so much effort and I like having that rig in the basement

Yes I think I will let go of 2 cards. Making 435 out of them is not bad to be honest. Problem is it is a cash on delivery order so I actually don’t want someone to screw me over as in not be available or refuse shipment. Means I will be out of cards for about 15-20 days.

Was looking for a alternative to NiceHash and I came across this post.

NiceHash was lagging my computer like crazy and it was restarting the excavator yesterday. Found that about switching to Awesome Miner and the link about getting rid of the dev fees.

Also changing the profit switching interval to 1 minute and 1%.

Since profits are so low on NiceHash I figured I'd give it a show and see how it does. I can send the profits to NiceHash account. So that's nice too.

Nvm, I cancelled my order to sell the cards. Was too risky plus I am making 30 bucks a day which is decent enough for now. Already at 695$ earned since 10th of Feb. Can't complain really.

NiceHash is click and forget.

Awesome Miner is not even close.

There are a LOT of options with it.

That being said, I think I'm getting a little more out of it than I did NiceHash.

I ran NiceHash and was getting $2.95 a day. Opened up Awesome Miner and was getting $3.22 per day.

That easily could be just the average and the fluctuation from 1 run to the next.

One thing is for sure, I can use the computer for web browsing with Awesome Miner open where as I couldn't with NiceHash. NiceHash made everything laggy.

Good idiot proof video to set up Awesome Miner. The reason for using Nicehash was always click and forget. I don't want to indulge in finding pools, adding/subtracting them and activating scripts and crap. I want an easy comparable solution to Nicehash. If that means I am losing about 2 bucks a day, I am OK with that.

It's the RGB lighting that's on the Prime Z270-A mobo; I set it to turn off if the rig shutsdown so I can easily tell if it's running or not

It's like 70 here today.

Today was the first day since I've been doing this that we had a warm day; and I did not like the temperature of the room when I came home from work. The GPU temps were decent but the room was well too hot for my liking; and that's at only a 70 degree day.

So I decided to switch things up and I think this will work better; basically flipped the rig around and two fans now blow the hot air out, with one of them blowing in. Seems to be much better but time will tell

I am still using Nicehash. Ain’t nobody got time for other shite. However, I am thinking about disabling Neoscrypt and focusing on Lyra2rev and Equihash only.
