    projected future totals

i love the look of that graph on the stats page, where our projected future totals is like a rocket. it is such a cool feeling.

      Of course...

      ...it'll never happen.

How many members have joined within the past couple of weeks? Everybody or nearly everybody--so our production values have been shooting up like a rocket. That graph would hold true if we had the same number of members join every day forever.

But then again--that won't happen, so it'll level off...

      Damn mathematics.

        huh?

        everybody?

If everybody joined we should have 5000 members but if you mean everybody as in people who liked getting involved in stuff then I hope you are wrong

        and math too!

um, im afraid your logic is flawed, that graph has nothing to do with members joining, it merley shows our estimated totals if we keep up the same rate of units/day, which should go up as more people join making the graph change but for teh better. I hope we can keep this rate up people, im working my but off (not literally cause im really doing very little, but if i could do anything i would, silly processors and all their, bah dont get me started) anyway, this isnt exactly a huge rate so we should be able to maintain.

yeah, those numbers are based on our current rate of production. if they included new members joining it would look like the graph of an exponetial function rather than a linear function. (ie it would ramp up instead of being a straight line)

anywho, as long as we keep getting new members for awhile i think we should be near the top of the list. we produce around 500 units a day right now, and if we could get up around 1000 we could hang with the big dogs.

the trick will be to keep everyone folding. fold on.
