Rage3D Tweak kind of lowers performance

It seems like Rage3D Tweak lowers performance when you uninstall it.

When I had the program installed with no overclocking set I got 8500 3DMarks. After I uninstalled it I got just 7700. Then I reinstalled the program and again got 8500.


Someone know anything about this problem?


My system:
1Ghz Thunderbird on an Abit KT7A with 384Mb RAM
Sapphire 9700 (softmodded 9500) works perfectly using W1zzards hack.
WindowsXP with all Servicepacks and DX9

Sounds like you have the 3dmark2001 profile autorunning.

running automatically when you run 3dmark, old game util settings remain after uninstalling.

Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Game Util

Not that it will affect your scores without r3d installed, these are r3d settings, they are ignored by the OS.
