Radeon 2600 HD Pro and Vista

No problems when using XP, but Vista 32 and 64 bit slow down to a complete crawl when I install the drivers. After unistalling the drivers and using the default the responce time is normal, but once I reinstall the drivers it goes back to a crawl. Any ideas and help would be much appreciated. Thanks
