Installing 9500Pro...re-installing XP before ?

Hi guys!

I would like to know if it's better to re-install XP before installing my new Rad9500Pro, to clean all my registry from old drivers (I'm using right now 'Cat 2.5') and to do a clean install of 'DX9 + Cat 3.0' ...?

I'm sure it's better, but how much, A BIT, or A LOT ??? What is or are your suggestion(s), please... ?

what i did, which has been ok, was formated the c drive then installed win xp, then sp1, then direct x 9 then via drivers then the radeon drivers, i think thats the best way, cause just by cleaning the registery, perhaps you may leave out stuff or windows might still have traces somewhere else.
