    FireGL driver release schedules

How often are the unified drivers to be updated ? It would be great if ATI could dedicate a bit more time and effort to these drivers.

They have recently really shaken things up with the unified drivers which is great. I was so fed up with the lack of DirectX9 native driver support prior to those. An update every quarter would be great!

After all, FireGL based cards are ATI's top of the line and it would be nice to see them treated as such. More configuration options, compatibility on par with the 3.7/3.8 Catalysts and a decent control panel would be great for starters . But I'd settle for just per-app AA/AF and vsync options

Well hopefully the creation of this forum section will be noticed by the FireGL unified driver development team.

It would be great if we could have our equivalent of the Catalyst Maker for the FireGL's to frequent this forum

Note: If you didn't know (which I didn't) you can enable a Direct3D tab in the latest control panel.
Just edit the install.ini file for the Control panel and amend it to "Direct3D=1", then install.

Would be great if there were a half decent OpenGL tab too within the drivers

Well now that the 3.8 Catalyst's are out, here's hoping the FireGL drivers are soon to be updated. Surely someone from ATI related to the unified FireGL driver development has browsed this section by now.

But for goodness sake, keep SMARTSHADE and those dire D3D/OGL profiles away from the FireGL drivers!

We are expecting new drivers for the FireGL series soon. Keep in mind, much work is done in the background prior to releasing FireGL drivers, as we work hand-in-hand with several key ISVs to get the driver optimized and certified for their applications.

Please stay posted below for drivers for your FireGL X1:

              That would be fantastic.

As Schloopy has said, these cards are the Top, and they should work as their best performances on both , OpenGL and DirectX applications

Would be wonderful to see that are worth the price we paied for them

Just curious, any FireGL driver beta testers frequenting this section ?

Like to hear of any new features, if any, for the next driver revision.
