Oops. Thanks for the warning, although mine doesn't have enduro, and i'm on Win 7 x64.
I've downloaded it. Thanks for the tip, will come in handy for next time!

[EDIT: ... and installed without a hitch. No error, no videocard disabling, no problem. /EDIT]

You can download the mobility V6 beta driver from here:

    http://www2.ati.com/drivers/beta/AMD...ity_BetaV6.exe

(just add "mobility" to the desktop driver link).

However, these v6 beta drivers refuse to run on my Samsung laptop (8750m videocard) running Windows 8.1 x64. They install without error, but there is no enduro entry in CCC and windows device manager disables the 8750m due to errors.

Catalyst 13.11 Beta V1 work fine.

  • Catalyst 13.11 Beta Mobility install utility bug?

The downloadlink on this page gives Mobility users a runner. It's a Utility you must run, and then it says "cannot download the driver because your laptop contains incompatible hardware. Your graphics adapter is not supported."

My question: what is "not compatible", what is "unsupported" about my laptop?
I installed Catalyst 13.11 Beta V1 downloaded from an AMD support page 11 days ago.

    It's a Samsung NP355V5C-A01NL-AMD C-A10 4600M
    CPU: AMD A10-4600M (2,3GHz)
    Memory: 8GB DDR3
    Display 15.6"
Resolution: 1366x768 (WXGA Wide), Led: Edge-lit
    Videochip Radeon HD7660G
    Video Out: D-Sub, HDMI
    Storage: 750GB (5400rpm)
    Optical: DVD+/-RW DL
    2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.0
    wlan: 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n
    Ethernet 1Gbps
    Bluetooth 4.0
    Multitouch touchpad
    Cardreader, Webcam
    Windows 7 Home Premium

    According to CCC Hardware table:
Graphics Card Manufacturer Powered by AMD
Graphics Chipset AMD Radeon HD 7660G
    Device ID 9900
    Vendor ID 1002
    Subsystem ID C0DD
    Subsystem Vendor ID 144D
    Graphics Bus Capability PCI
    Maximum Bus Setting PCI
    BIOS Version 015.015.000.001
    BIOS Part Number 113-DVST-102
    BIOS Date 2012/02/06
    Memory Size 512 MB
    Memory Type DDR3
Core Clock in MHz 686 MHz
Memory Clock in MHz 800 MHz
    Total Memory Bandwidth in GByte/s 25,6 GByte/s

    Come on, AMD.

    I reported the issue.

Anyone getting the same issue on an AMD laptop they are sure is compatible?
