AMD 8970M Driver problems

Hello, i'm using an intel i7 7400QM with an AMD radeon HD 8970M using enduro tecnology.

I have problems with some outdated games like the sims 3 or Alice Madness returns.
The game doesn't use the AMD card but only the CPU integrated one.
The same for some games like minecraft.
The problem is pretty annoying and I don't know what to do.
I'm using latest 13.8 driver beta 2. Any help would be really appreciated.

How is the performance of this card in latest games like Crysis 3 or Battlefield 3?

You can check in AMD Catalyst Center, under Switchable Graphics tab, if those games are set to "High Performance". If they are not, you can manually add them in the same tab. That will ensure that they will run on the AMD card.
