    A10 6800 Build Question

Okay I have my A10 and am considering what direction I want to go.

I have been seriously considering getting an Asus F2A85-M PRO and using a Cooler Master N 200 case. The other option is an MSI FM2-A75IA-E53 and a Prodigy case. I chose the MSI board because it will allow me to use a back plated cooler like and H100. The Asus board is the best looking mATX I can find.

my plan is to use the H100 and get some overclocking out of this chip. The Asus will overclock better but I am concerned that using the H100 at the front of the case will create heat issues with other parts.

    I welcome opinions.

The air brought in from the front of the case is going to be cooler than the air pulled in from the side. Thus it should keep the radiator cooler as well. In turn this will allow for lower temps of the APU. Thus possibly leading to lower ambient temperatures in the case itself.

Make sure you have good fans to exhaust the heat and you should be okay I'd think.

Just curious is there any reason why a Gigabyte board is not on your list for consideration?

Looking all I can see is that you're wanting an mATX board.

Also I do agree with Redeemed in regards to the pulling in air from the front being cooler.

Make sure that your fan setup is balanced so that you're moving air equally as well.

if I go the MATX route the Asus board has better options, at least for what I am interested in. I am however looking at the ITX route as well. Hence the MSI board and the Prodigy.

Ah ok makes sense. I just wanted to ask since I like the whole dual BIOS thing on the GB boards.
