Game Test - Call of Duty
Another great thing about Call of Duty is that it is a very reliable and straightforward game to benchmark with since it is based on the Quake 3 engine. To test the game, I used four demo replays and then averaged the results for the three resolutions. One of the demos, a particularly action packed recording on the Carentan level, was found at the 3dcenter.de forums. The other is from the spectator point of view flying above another sequence of heavy action on the Brecourt level. The third demo is also from the Brecourt level, but this time from the traditional first person perspective. The final demo is a custom "fly-by" type of demo on the Dawnville map. I again took the results from each of these demos and averaged the results to get the final score.

As usual, the 9600XT cards perform on par with each other. The 9500 Pro performs well and surpasses the 9600XT when anti-aliasing is enabled thanks to its pixel and texture fillrate advantage.
