Introduction

Logitech has become a household name to most computer users. They have continually dominated the market in peripherals such as; keyboards, mice, and webcams. Over the years, Logitech has continually given their users unparalleled quality in speakers at all price ranges. Over three years ago, we reviewed the Z-5300 speaker system. Today, Logitech has allowed us to gain a firsthand look at their new midrange speaker system before they hit the shelves. Announced in late August, with a street date of mid October, the G51 is the newborn baby of the Logitech family. They are based on the “G series” products, which are directly marketed to gamers. In this preview I will give you a brief overview and key features of this product before taking a few weeks to provide a more detailed comparison between the older Z-5300s, with the new G51 speaker system.

      · Music matrix mode takes two-channel music and electronically upmixes it to 5.1 sound
