Falkentyne is still being judged by the masses

Default Lightboost on Radeons...

It would be earth shattering if the Catalyst crew or a third party found a way to make lightboost work on radeons...apparently it already works if the monitor is initialized in 3D with an nvidia board, the -exact- same timings for 1920x1080 with a total of 1149 are set on the AMD board (with CRU.exe) then the monitor "hot plugged" into the AMD board...(without unplugging it from the wall).

We just need to know what DDC/CI command the Nvidia drivers are giving the monitor to tell it to switch into lightboost 3D mode...

Check with Japamd, the Radeon Pro author. He might know, as hes in communication with AMD.
