looks futuristic compared to the current one, especially if those creases stay sharp.

But the rear end reminds me of the camaro and i dunno if thats a good thing.

Corvette needs to up their game.

Maybe come out with another Stingray or something. The entire C series has been...lackluster in appearance IMHO.

Interesting. I actually approve of this design. Everything except the rear end they stole from the Camaro that looks just as ugly as it does on the Camaro itself. Have some originality folks, this is the Corvette FFS. It needs to have the circular tail lights and at least a vague general shape of the C6 models. And in the name of all things holy, lose the ****ing bowtie.

Edit: Actually, the images clash. One has the stupid bowtie and the other the Vette emblem.

The entire C series?

You mean the current generation C6 is lackluster? Personally, I'd say you're out of your mind and have horrible taste. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you mean. Every Corvette in existence is part of a "C-series" since it only refers to each generation.

Headlights and fenders kind of reminds me of the 599. Nice looking car but the rear looks like an after thought they pulled off the Camaro spare parts shelf.

Looks really blah to me. If this is about what the car will turn out to be like, probably the ugliest 'Vette in a long time.

uh the tail lights screwed up again, didn't this happen when they announced that the tail lights were not going to be the traditional round lights like they have been since some of the first(or the first) corvettes?

Nowhere near enough fender gap to be a Vette

If I believed this was going to be the finished product I'd probably cry.

OK, so I don't keep up with the naming schemes of cars, so sue me. After a little googling, The C2 was the last nice looking generation of Vettes. Freaking sweet car, the lines, everything.

Since the early 80s? I'm sorry, but when Saturn designs a more attractive car, something is seriously wrong with Vette's designers.

You're kinda stating the obvious there about the C2. I don't agree that everything past that is crap, the C5 and C6 are still great looking cars.

The C2 was designed/produced in a time when areodynamics wasn't a part of the equation. A good motor and striking looks was all they needed to sell a car. I guess we're starting to see that there's only so much you can do with a wedge shaped car.

I loved the C3. Basically loved every vette besides the C4, and even then, I love the C4 ZR1.

Which Saturn car looks better than a Corvette? You can't be talking about the Saturn Sky. Look REAL hard at the car, it looks a lot like a C6 Vette. They borrowed so many things from the design it's ridiculous. You'd have to have some weird Corvette blinders on to say it looks good compared to a Vette since they are so similar in design.

I have no idea what Saturn car looks good otherwise, I don't think any other designs are worth mentioning.

Umm.. why is the rear-end basically a rip off the Camaro?

That's the LAST car I would steal the rear from. Ugliest thing ever..
Design is sleek besides that.

I like the look of the back of my Camaro, but I would never want to see it on the back of any other car. Sadly, I think it's a current "design theme" at GM right now as the new 2013 Malibu has similar shapes on its rear.

Sometimes I think GM just looks at sales and says "This car is selling like hot cakes! Make everything else look just like it and make copies for each brand."

All that said, I don't think that rear will be seen on the Vette. The Vette has always had individual round rear lights. Usually 4 of them. However, this is GM. They have been known to get wrong once or ten times.

They should focus on making the car smaller. If its anything like what Nissan did with the gtr and Chevy with the new camaro it's gonna be a big fatty fat mobile. I'd love to see the corvette shrink in size a bit to get the weight down.

But then there wouldnt be a point in putting their massive v-million engine with ludirous power in it. Cuz then they'd have to engineer it not to fly.

Get the weight down? There is nothing wrong with a 3200lbs car. The weight is fine and it definitely does NOT need to be made smaller.

There's no such thing as "fine" when it comes to performance, if there was you wouldn't have spent a pretty penny on supercharging your z06.

It could be better. It's a tad big but they can shrink it up and save a few pounds.
There's no reason they can't. I'd love to see it about 6-9 inches shorter and 150-200lbs lighter
