If the other girls were all-natural then it would be unfair because Mr. HeShe over here got done up to a pre-planned ideal spec.

Somehow it feels wrong anyway, but when you look at it logically, it really isn't unfair.

The thing I'm debating about this is beauty is subjective. Society as a whole has a predetermined notion of beauty, but society can and does progress with those notions.

YOu can argue that this person is beautiful in the right context, but it is assumed at these places that you are born with the genetic and chromosome build of a female, generally speaking.

YOu could argue that this may be like the whole Rosa parks thing creating a spark of sorts, but transgendered people are not naturally occurring, Africans are.

So the question really is what is beauty to society?

It's not as much of a grey area when you get to the genetic requirements though. As it is, I'm inclined to say that these should be kept female born since that is the assumption, but that would assume that these beauty contests have actual practical implication of being female, and I don't know enough about what the winners of these contests tend to get up to afterwards. If it is solely a contest of looks and personality, I can't honestly think of a good reason not to allow this person in.
