That thing is awesome.

I would prob go for the Hennessey version of the CTS-V though. Creep up on a M5 or M3 and destroy it!

GM Cars are jokes including this piece of crap.

Nissan GT-R with 485HP has better 0-60 time 3.4 seconds and 11.9 seconds quarter mile. With this much of power GT-R would be close to 10 flat not to mention handling where Camaro is nowhere near.

As I said GM Engine ->

Please go back under your bridge.

Yes, the GT-R is a whole tenth faster in the meaningless 0-60 time, and gets spanked by over half a second in the 1/4, and this somehow means that GM engines are " "? GM, in my opinion, makes by far the best small block v8s available.

Also, the curb weight of a Camaro and the GT-R are almost exactly the same, there is no way it would even be close to a 10 second 1/4 mile.

That's an ignorant statement. There is no problem with the engine, it's the entire package...and it's not for everyone. The LS9 in this Camaro is the same LS9 in the ZR1.

The LS family of engines are great and tough as hell, making excellent power.

GT-R is more like 520BHP, as with a lot of jap cars, they are a bit conservative, hehe. The awesome 4WD helps as well.

Put it on a track against that thing and watch it rape it.

Car in title, is hideous and aweful. Much rather have a Vette ZR1 or Ford GT.

yes, and if you drop a bugatti veyron drivetrain in a 1948 Nash it will haul ass, too

getting ON TOPIC, though....
i think the Callaway and SLP versions give a better compromise of insane power levels vs. cost; Road & Track had a report on all three recently

I take it back, it is a rip off, at 125,000$. You can get a ZR1 for 106,000$ that's faster to 60, faster to 1/4 mile, stops faster, pulls higher Gs through the corners, gets better mileage, and is faster through the cones.

I thought that looked familiar, it's just a Lotus Exige with a wider track.

Lengthened too, to accomodate the V8 in the back.
I actually dont think its based on a exige...isnt it just hand crafted from scratch and made to look like an exige?
