Default I'm going to a club for the first time...

I'm pretty sure I can't dance.

Any suggestions on how to have a good time?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.

My friends wanted me to drive though, and I told them I was going to get wasted since I never go out. And they're like, "Well, do it."

Ugh! I hated the club scene. Expensive drinks and shallow people.

Almost every person I ever met or observed in a club was either a whore or a self-absorbed diva...why the hell would I want to spend money for that!? Not to mention the amount of fights, stabbings, and shootings that go on inside a club (first time at a club and some guy pulled a gun on someone).

I honestly don't understand the appeal.

Hopefully your experience will be much better than mine and you enjoy yourself.

Alcohol doesn't make me dance. Never gone clubbing, but I've been to parties with DJ's playing music.

Me either...tried that before. The amount of alcohol it takes to make me kinda want to dance is to the point where my body can't do anything beyond the "stumbling zombie"....

I've been to clubs a few times, wish I went more because I like dancing.

My only regret is wearing heels that ended up hurting my feet. So I'd say don't do that.

Go and have a good time, don't get too wasted or you're likely to fall into someone and end up in hospital. I'll probably be going clubbing tomorrow night (Works xmas party, free booze, bad idea) but I'm really too old for all that now, can be fun if I'm in the right mood with the right group of mates, but seeing as I'm going to be with idiots whom I mostly dislike, then I'll do a disappearing act sometime around the 1 o'clock mark I expect.

Never liked clubs, 100 douche bags chasing the same group of girls, it's too loud to converse, there's a cover to get in and drinks are $3 bucks more a piece than a normal bar.

**** clubs.

Loud music (deaf after you leave the club at 4am), sweaty smelly people, no thanks.

I hear ya, I'm getting a bit old for it these days but I still go a few times a year, except I guess I'm now one of those creepy older pill heads that I used to watch out for when I was 19 or 20 lol

Just drink until you feel like dancing and you will be pulling off moves never seen before. What kind of club is it (techno, hip hop, country)? If it is country no matter how much you drink you still suck at it, you got to learn to do it sober. Hip hop/techno just get drunk and have a good time and make up moves as you go.
