I wonder if these even have the NFS performance increase. The set Hardocp used was Catalyst 8.663.1 Beta, these are 8.680. How did those betas for NFS go back in build so far??

It doesn't as far as I can tell, still getting 10-30fps with this driver on XP.

1440x900, no AA, maximum settings, gpu temperature is low for a 3d game on my sytem, hovering on 60C where other 3d games usually get my card to to 70C.

Don't try this driver, i installed it everything goes as usual without problems, but after reboot the XP won't load anymore, starts reseting at boot.

My luck was i have a backup card what booted without any problem, uninstalled the driver and CCC, i put back the HD5770 and installed the CD driver, everything works again

i can say it's one of better drivers for wXP so far (smooth, fast) ...
wish it was available long long time ago...

hard to say about OpenGL ... but i guess that's related to 3.x changes
GLSL Parser Test (for 2.x) from ex 3Dlabs is failing all over the place

now i wish same or better quality gets W7 driver (please throw out one on AMD.developers site !)

What about a fix for Empire Total War? And will the about to be released Napoleon Total War have the same problems as it uses the same engine?

ie- no AA or AAA and broken crossfire, AO and volumetric effects?
