I'm gonna pick up a 9800gt for $109 off the shelf tomorrow at Fry's. I'm gonna use it for 3-4 weeks and return it. I need to play my games

I might get a 250gts just for the hell of it.

Some stores lose money on returns since they have to ship it back even though its in 100% working condition. Then the other stores like Compusa for for example would repackage it, discount it by 7-10% and put it back on the shelf.

Either way its still going to hurt the stores profit.
