Mixed feelings, somewhat disappointed. Like Ozzie says, been there done that plot, which is okay except the acting looked, amateurish to me.

God, it looks gorgeous. But I'm not going to hate on the apparent basic plot (a little Battle For Terra and probably a little Nausicaa). None of James Cameron's films, as good as they are, are known for having Mamet-class writing--he does okay, though pacing and execution are his real forte.

And none of that matters, since it has a giant robot. I'm sold.

Fricfrac (lol) posted the new trailer in HD, all I can say is, actually I can't really say anything. Do yourself a favour and view on your HT if you can. And I am only seeing the visuals in a fraction of what the 3D experience will be.
