Post Creepy exploration of abandoned hospital.

I like stuff like this but would be too afraid and freaked out to explore an abandoned building.

http://www.abandonedbutnotforgotten....a_hospital.htm

The guy himself seems a bit on the morbid side if you read the descriptions of the pictures. But some of these shots are very eerie and there is one in particular that if I had of come across that in the dark like they did, I probably would have dropped in a dead faint lol.

The atmosphere is very spooky, anyways, enjoy

If any Ragers have any good creepy links like these, add them to the thread, I would like to see them

Late one night at the insane asylum one inmate shouted: I am Napoleon! Another one said: How do you know? The first inmate said: God told me! A voice from another room shouted: I did NOT!

If memory serves me right, I think Pirate NeilSouth has actually done a fair bit of exploration himself, and shared the pics on various threads.

This stuff is great. Before my old elementary school (a late 19th century 5 story building) was torn down we had the opportunity to visit it at night and the creepyness factor was all there. Cross of Blade Runner like water dripping/running everywhere with the typical kids playing satanist with spray paint and candles in some classrooms... Sounds resonating everywhere... wish we had filmed it back in 89 when we had a chance...

Oh man, this one time when I was a young teenager, like 13 or 14 me and a few buddies decided to go explore this old delapidated (sp) factory out in the middle of nowhere. Damn thing was right next to a graveyard and was spooky as hell. We got this fat guy who was a couple years older to drive us out there in his mom's car, parked on the road and had to hike up through the bushes and trees about a half mile to get there. We got in through a Window and came into an office type area. We didn't even have a good flashlight! Only one of those pocket maglights, and I can tell you that in the dim light this place was creepy! Everything was falling apart and rusty, condoms and animal **** on the floor...

Nevertheless we decided to keep exploring, so we left the office and it came out into a hallway leading to a big metal double door. We walked over there, once we got close we saw lights flickering (like candlelight) through the crack and we could hear stern sounding (strange I know) voices!!!

That was too much for us pussies, we looked at each other and hauled ass back through the window (cut my thigh on the way out, still have the scar), ran back through the woods and bushes, got in the car and peeled out! We were so damn tired and winded from hauling back to the car we couldn't even talk till we reached the gas station. I mean damn we were a few nerdy kids and a 300lb 16 year old... that was more excitement we'd ever had outside of a NES game .

We speculated on who could have been in there for years afterwards, could have been other kids in there screwing around or devil worshippers for all I know. At the time I was just happy we didn't get caught for tresspassing.

Looking at some of the links that Pirate Neilsouth provided (thank you - this subject has always fascinated me since I was just a young kid), the one thing that strikes me is the personal belongings left behind. Where are these people now? What happened to them? In a hospital or mental institution you can pretty much fill in the blanks, but why didn't the families of these people come for their personal affects? Sad and strange...

Only way I'd venture into a building like such posted in the first link would be with at least a handgun. When that bum comes running at you with his aid infested needles you need to gun him down.

I would love to do this. Craziest I've done was walk around in the abandoned k-mart still creepy as ****. I didn't know how big the back of those places where until that night.
