CCC Restart Runtime

Hi guys,

Wondering what the "Restart Runtime" function does in Start -> All Programs -> Catalyst Control Centre

It seems people use this in the event that CCC does not load when windows start. Is this the only use for it or does it do anything else? As far as I can tell it just loads the CCC up

Restart Runtime doesn't actually launch CCC, rather it restarts the runtime (duh!) libraries which are necessary for CCC to run. It does so by initiating two processes: CCC.exe and MOM.exe.
Should you terminate these processes for any reason (freeing up memory for instance), next time you need to use CCC you will have to Restart Runtime first in order to launch it.
