Umm, will this improve folding performance any?

Because I'm not quite sure I understand how folding has already been GPU-powered even before this update. Or was it?

But I saw a PR slide that had AVIVO/4870 quite in a lead vs Badaboom/GTX280. Who knows, maybe those enhanced bitshift operations were indeed crucial.
