Default Fallout 3 radio choppyness

Is the radio in Fallout 3 (when listening out of your pip boy) supposed to be skipping/choppy sounding? Whenever somebody is talking it sounds fine, but once music starts to play it gets all skippy and choppy sounding.

Well, for creative users who get choppiness the solution appears to be to create a profile for Fallout 3 in alchemy and use a buffer size of 10. I'm not sure if that helps anyone, but it helped me.

for me alchemy makes it worse. i just installed the latest beta drivers for the x-fi and that fixed it.

For the lazy here: How do I add the reg string? If I copy/paste it in AL it says that the reg key is invalid.
