Default Top 10 Free MMORPG Games!!!

1. Requiem http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-66...loodymare.html

Quote:
Requiem BloodymareRequiem is promoted as a mature horror mmorpg, and while it’s dark and bloody, it could be played by kids with age of over 14 or even less, but in our society, seeing people getting shot at the TV at the 20.00 News seems to be ok, but if you play a game where there is some blood and maybe some female breasts, it’s mature, bloody and horror ...Anyway, let’s carry on
Requiem is one of those decent fantasy, horror free mmorpg game that is well made, in terms of movement, interface, dialogues, quests, and fighting. At first I thought it’s just an Asian mmorpg, but it’s not. It is ready for western mmorpg games market. Not sure if it was developed in Europe or US, or was made by Asian Devs for West market.
The game offers a good keyboard and mouse movement, good interface, good level design keeping you in the horror theme, ranging from monsters, mucho blood, and satisfying combat, and decent quests. We also have what they call unique features, a Possession Beast System is a feature that can endow characters with immense power and abilities to survive difficult situations or to speed up hunting; Nightmare Monsters that appear at night and require a party to defeat and a DNA system where each character can upgrade the strengths of its job, or minimize its drawbacks, by using the DNA system. Users can control the evolution of their characters by reorganizing its DNA. This customization option allows a variety of possible character builds sharing the same race and job.
2. Mabinogi http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-69-Mabinogi.html

Quote:
MabinogiStep into the realm of living fantasy, Erinn, Mabinogi’s fantasy world based on Celtic mythology is brimming with fantastic opportunities and endless possibilities.
Mabinogi is a free mmorpg game that with its simplicity comes with many original and simple features, making the game very interesting to play. Simple activities and high control over you avatar skills, job system where you help townsfolk with their daily life, these features deliver a fun experience and a new approach in some ways. Unfortunately it’s only available in the US for now , but it might be released in other areas too.

3. Atlantica Online http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-79...ca-Online.html

Quote:
Atlantica OnlineCurrently in closed beta, this free mmorpg game shows a lot of potential, by having a turn-based combat similar to the one in Final Fantasy series, good graphics, and good features, from pvp combat to something similar to the tome of knowledge in Warhammer Online.
4. RF Online http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-42-RF-Online.html

Quote:
RF OnlineRF Online is an epic mix of traditional fantasy mmorpg game and unique futuristic sci-fi action to bring an entirely new and original take on the existing mmorpg genre. As a player you get to choose from 3 factions, where one is particular interesting because they are robots. The most interesting feature in this mmorpg game is that all your skills grow while you use them. Want to be good with a ranged gun, well use it until you get proficient with that item, and so on and so forth. It brings lots of grind but it’s interesting since the world is very well done in terms of graphics and location, and we also have a mass pvp feature.
5. Anarchy Online Classic http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-32...e-Classic.html

Quote:
Anarchy Online ClassicAO is one of the oldest mmorpg games on the market, one of those that offers you complete control over your character, and at the same time it’s somewhat more complex than your average mmorpg game, but after you master it, you might love it. It’s not very friendly but a good experience. Offers interesting features from possibility to have a car, or even a small hover craft, random mission generator, if you want to use it, territory battles, tons of dungeons, and the basic features of p2p mmorpg, but well made.

6. Saga
http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-64-Saga.html

Quote:
SagaSaga is persistent and played online in a massively-multiplayer environment. Every building you build, troop you buy, and piece of land you conquer remains with you as long as you play the game. That means every time you fight your friends, you won’t have to rebuild your castle from scratch.
hat it interesting about this mmorts game is that you start from the beginning by building over your land, building to boost your economy or your peasant population, and also your combat units level. The latter can be equipped with items bought or won from mission. At the same time it has a very good pvp system, where you can fight for supremacy, city vs city, or you can also be attacked ( or vice versa) on your adjacent territories, but not all can be attacked. Besides these, you can quest for rewards and xp alone or with friends, guild. A very interesting approach, and well done, but on free accounts it’s a little harder because units come from trading cards on the in game market.

7. Project Torque http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-54...ct-Torque.html

Quote:
Project TorqueProject is an online racing game, I can’t call it a mmorpg since it’s based on lobby system, but an entertaining game. Having the possibility to race, compete with other players, win credits and buy new cars, and customize them, leads to a fun experience. Also the racing system is well designed. It really delivers the feeling that you are on the road racing for the number one spot.
8. Navy Field http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-11-Navy-Field.html

Quote:
Navy FieldNavy Field is a Massively Multi Player Online Tactics Game. Based on naval combat during WWII, Navy Field is unique in its attention to detail.
Similar to Project Torque, Navy Field is based on lobby system so it’s not really massive, but fights within this lobbies system can go with over 40 players at the same time. This game will attract fans of the naval battles of the WWII, where they can take control over massive warships from destroyers to battleships and have complete control over their equipment and crew.
9. Shattered Galaxy http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-10...ed-Galaxy.html

Quote:
Shattered GalaxyShattered Galaxy is a massively multiplayer online real-time strategy game, which combines the excitement of real-time strategy with the character development of role-playing in a persistent online world.
An old mmorts game, but still very interesting and entertaining, which offers the chance to control small armies of robots, and participate with them in the war of against the other factions. While doing this, the units can be upgraded, equipped with different items, and they also gain experience, same as your commander. Unfortunately the graphics engine is 2D and pretty old, supporting only 800x600 resolutions.
10. Dungeon Runners http://www.mmorpg-center.com/game-29...n-Runners.html

Quote:
Dungeon RunnersDungeon Runners is an free mmorpg game where you’ll explore dangerous dungeons, battle ferocious monsters and discover incredible weapons, artifacts and loot.
Dungeon Runners it a hack and slash mmorpg game with a twist, with a similar system of loot and combat as Diablo series, and a bunch of funny features, that can keep a few fans of this genre happy, but not for long unfortunately .

CABAL Online is returning to the game’s original intention.
As everyone knows a game should be exciting and interesting and that means MMORPGs as well. Well built battle/skill systems, clear quest systems and spectacular battle moves are the basic contents of an interesting game as well as fabulous 3D graphics and a high level of animation which bare a close resemblance to the real world.

I was seriously thinking about downloading Requiem. PC GAMER gave it 70% ("Good"), which isn't bad at all considering it's completely free.

Is it really worth the 2.4 gig download?

No.
But then again it depends on whether or not you like the eastern/korean type of mmo.

I like the idea of free MMOs but I still need to find that Free version that is both fun and dominant. I would have it just to play casually every now and then.

That's kind of what I was thinking. They seem to be about grinding all day long.

They call them chinese gold farmers for a reason. Those guys are machines and seem to be into that kind of thing.

u know the reason behind chinese gold farmers??
in some area of china people only make 100-200 us dollars a MONTH normally. but by playing game and selling gold to the us .. they will make much more money in return.

its not like in us and canada and many other country where people make at least few thousands us dollars with the minimum wage thing.

u can make 1200 us dollars working full time at mcdonald a month in usa, tho u can only make 300-400 or less us dollars a month working in the same mcdonald restuarant in china, and doing the same kind of work. of course, some area in china wages will be much higher .

As I was bored to death today I tried Requiem.
I thought it was quite fun because of the bloody combat
And there are some quests which gets you to lvl 10 (where you choose your first job) in 2 hours.

I am almost lvl 10

I know it will get boring in 1-4 days but it is fun when you dont have anything better to do. And it took me only 20min to download it
Free download manager + fast connection FTW

Me and a friend tried Mabinogi for a few weeks.......it was horrible.

We were going to try Cabal. Only messed around with it for a couple days, it actually seemed decent though. Ended up being convinced to play WoW again instead by a few friends

On another forum I was just made aware of Regnum Online, another free MMORPG (though with payment for "premium" things). Its an Argentinian game, so just that gets it 50 bonus percentage score over the 99.99% identical Chikorjapean games.

Anyone played it?

Do you mean embedding YouTube videos so that they can be 'played' here within the thread rather than opening up a separate link?

Just use the following tags: [ yt ] and [ /yt ], only without the spaces between the brackets and letters.

In between the 'yt' tags, include the full set of letters after "v=" at the very end of the URL. Here is an example using your link:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ttm8CPVshk

The bolded set of letters/numbers after "v=" is what you include within the 'yt' tags. Here is the code in action (you can quote this post and view the code if you need to):

The only free MMORPG I ever got into (e.g. level 70+ / 90) was Silkroad Online. Any other MMOs I stop way before being considered "powerful".

Thanks a bunch, I'll do that in the future. I'd rep you but for some reason I can't find the damn button (just kidding).

and who's top10 is this?

imho, it's filled with meh games.
the only game i'd play that's been mentioned in this thread is silkroad..
and only because i used to play it a while back.

this list is more of a "hey, i'm sort of getting bored of MAPLE STORY,
what other games are all you other kiddies playing?"

D:
also makes me sad because there really doesn't seem to be any interesting
mmos any longer. aoc was huge bust, wow never interested me, i tried to get
back into guildwars but it was a little hard getting back in the swing of it.

but i still have a few mmos installed that i roll back into every now and then.

There are only three things you can guarantee in life- death, taxes and XBox fanboism on Rage.
