No difference compared to 177.26, but at least nothing new is broken

This is the usuall step for Nvidia. Release new cards and driver support falls to almost zero for the older hardware.

This is another reason why I am deciding to upgrade. We will probably get a new driver for the G80/G92 everythin 3 or 4 months now from what it looks like. And no I am not talking about leaked or rehash drivers.

yeah, at least the architecture isn't that much different. I found a modified inf file and installed these on xp32 for g80, and so far i've had no issues that i had with the 177.26 leaked ones. no BSOD's or texture corruption in any games i'm playing.
I will be upgrading near the end of this year, or maybe even sooner if some really intense game comes out over the summer.

anyways if someone needs just the inf file for xp32bit here it is.

I've got a modded INF aswell and have these installed for my Quad SLI Setup. CP is a little different but its actually faster.

I had massive stuttering with 177.26 in alot of titles. So far the stuttering is gone with this set. Haven't noticed any performance issues either. I'll stick with these for now, Memexpress told me they will have stock on the XFX and EVGA versions of 280 so I might pick two up. Gonna hold off though and see what happens in about a month.

Modded INF for Vista X64:

Edit: I take it back the massive ammount of pausing and hitching is still present. Reverted back to 175.80 and the issue is gone.
