Eurogamer has word that Dead Space will be making its way to the PC in addition to its originally announced target platforms of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (story). They also have word that additional downloadable content is being prepped for all three variants on the survival/horror game, and that the way the game ends will leave the door open for future sequels. Dead space is currently expected in the fall of this year. http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=90809 http://www.ea.com/deadspace/ |

EA has just released a new trailer and some new screenshots of Dead Space (PC, PS3, Xbox 360) the sci-fi survival horror effort in the works over at EA Redwood Shores. Dead Space will be released on October 31, 2008. ![]() Lack of af in this picture is not pleasing ![]() http://www.ggmania.com/?smsid=25339 |

Looks interesting. Kind of reminds me of a mix of The Thing, Doom 3 and System Shock. I would like it better if you were not really the only one still left alive, as I think finding a few other survivors would add to the experience (and not having to go it alone the whole time). |

i dont like the fact that it's 3rd person, but the theme looks good, albeit typical. |

I have high hopes for this game but in order that I'm really satisfied this game will have to have a plot and atmosphere the quality of alien, event horizon or even sunshine. I've yet to see a PC game that was released on consoles that wasn't dumbed down... so heres hoping.
