The premium cable network has renewed the comedy series for a fourth season, ordering 13 new episodes. The half-hour series, starring Mary-Louise Parker as a pot-dealing widowed mother in the suburbs, is targeted to go into production in April for a summer debut.
"Weeds" ranks as Showtime's most-watched original comedy series, with Season 3 currently outperforming the previous season by 19%, according to Nielsen Media Research. Season 3 also is Showtime's most-watched original series among adults 18-34, a demographic coveted by advertisers.

Right, but those episodes are blanks.

If you saw the episode, you would have to wonder.

Heck of a season ender if it survives the strike, if it doesn't survive, I'm okay with how it ended. Unlike the shows in the "Shows Canceled Too Soon" thread.

Most of the episodes are pretty much like tonights...

except they are all a journey to here, with plot twists and turns and OMGWTFBBQsauce no way anyone is going to survive this episode episodes all along the way. This episode is the end of the story arc for the show. If they start a new season, it will be in a new location "over the hill, or the hill after it"

If you liked tonights you'll dig the show...start from S01E01 and work your way through....you will be glad you haven't had to wait through season breaks and Monday nights to see it all.

Weeds is one of the best shows ever made.

*** possible spoilers ***

big fan of the show here and i hate saying this but i was honestly disappointed with this season. the first part of the season was all about cleaning up the mess at the end of the last one. from there, it never really managed to develop a story. in between, the episodes felt disconnected, and designed as set pieces which lead up to huge WTF moment and that's all. no rhyme or reason, just insanity. the height of this was talking to juda? seriously?? . that part was when i finally felt that they had run out of ideas altogether. also, they kind of lost the humor in it all. all the way through the end of season 2 it used to be quite amusing, but in this season it was more of rather than .

i am very glad that there will be season 4, but for me, season 3 was not the weeds that i love and it didn't match up to the high standards i hold for this show.

I enjoy watching both Weeds and Californication. Thank God for the Internet (or should I say Gore?).
