Default Keeping the Doody in the Doodyheads

The Doodyheads over at The Tech Report are creeping ever closer. Will it be enough to put Rage3D back in gear?

Drop by, say hi, and tell them what you think!

I've been folding on and off when I go to sleep (power costs are cheaper at those hours), I'll set it as a scheduled task so I don't forget.

I hear ya. That's one thing I love about wintertime - Folding is my office's heating source this time of year. Keeps the room at a nice temperature and doesn't cost me much if anymore to heat it than if I were to let the furnace do the work. Oh, and overclocks are much friendlier this time of year.

Well guess I'll have to restart cpu folding while I wait for cat 7.1's to fix the gpu client!!

I lost my office computer for the Christmas break (a P4 3.2 GHz). But the good news is it's going to be back online on January 3rd.

I slipped for a bit on this new system so it's been a couple weeks since I folded... had to reinstall and got that going now. Problem is I don't have a realiable PSU so it'll crash and reboot in the middle of the night.

On the plus side I'm folding with 2.8G P4 now instead of 1.8G AXP.

So I can't run the GPU and CPU clients simultaneously, right? New video is 1950 Pro!

PS, if you're wondering about those stats with the specs I just talked about, I was hitching a ride on the express for quite a while. Dorx

If its a single core CPU, no. The GPU client should give you better production than the P4 though, so I'd probably try that route too.

Oh, and yes ... the DorXtar eXpress.
