Arrow WW2 movies seen from a German point of view?

I would like to see some movie where the main characters are German soldiers and not Americans. I have seen "Das Boot" and "Nothing New On The Western Front (produced in the 1930s)".

Anything else? Foreign movies are welcome.

Thanks

- The hardest thing about getting a Mac is telling your parents that you're gay.

- If I had the choice between being gay and owning a Mac, I would rather be gay, because if I owned a Mac I would be both gay and own a horrible computer.

- Imagine a giant cock flying towards your mouth, and there's nothing you can do about it. And you're like "Oh man, I'm gonna have to suck this thing", and you brace yourself to suck this giant cock. But then, at the last moment, it changes trajectory and hits you in the eye. You think to yourself "Well, at least I got that out of the way", but then the giant cock rears back and stabs your eye again, and again, and again. Eventually, this giant cock is penetrating your gray matter, and you begin to lose control of your motor skills. That's when the giant cock slaps you across the cheek, causing you to fall out of your chair. Unable to move and at your most vulnerable, the giant cock finally lodges itself in your anus, where it rests comfortably for 4, maybe 5 hours. That's what using Mac OSX is like.

Not a war movie in the traditional sense, but still a very good German film about the last days of the war.

Downfall

All Quiet on the Western Front (1979 version) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078753/

Der Untergang / Downfall is indeed a must-see, preferably with the orginal German voices.

I would love to see some kind of band or brothers mini series from a german point of view. With some of the same battles as in BoB but from the point of view of the germans

Yeah, that would be awesome, as long as the germans are on the losing end.
I don't think a movie about the 1940 blitzkrieg campaign (invasion of Poland, Denmark, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, France, etc) would be that fun to watch.

Plot Outline: Traudl Junge (Lara), the final secretary for Adolf Hitler (Ganz), tells of the Nazi dictator's final days in his Berlin bunker at the end of WWII

It's the last days of Adolf Hitler, April 1945, and Hitler's personal secretary Traudl Junge finds herself in the Der Fuhrer's bunker. Facing inevitable defeat, Hilter's moods range from defiance to fight or flee, remain loyal or opt for self-preservation. Eva Braun parties while Magda Goebbels kills her children. The movie goes on to show how Hitler and Eva lived their last hours in the Bunker.

One of the best ww2/hitler film/documentry ever made

Lithurge , yep its a good'n

That is highly subjective.

Anyway, thanks for the recommendations everyone. I'll be sure to get Stalingrad.
