Default High Quality AF in OpenGL?

Ok I did a search and it turned up nothing so please don't flame me (not to mention you can't search for "AF" anyway...

Does OpenGL support high quality AF, or only direct3d?
I used a texture filtering OGL test and high quality AF isn't doing anything at all in OpenGL

I was running the "texturefilteringtest.exe" for OpenGL, I think this came out sometime in 2002....

If this is a bug in ATT, then what is the registry entry for high quality AF for OpenGL? I tried OGLAreaAniso, dword of 1 but that didn't work....

In that case, it's not working on X1950 XTX in OpenGL only.
Note that its on a rather fresh (2 week old) install of Windows.

Can anyone else confirm, please?

*edit*
whew, it's working after I enabled "emulate control center" in ATT. I don't have CCC installed, and it looks like the registry entries for the original "CP" mode (separate d3d/ogl entries) doesn't work for all options now.

Cool, I'm glad you have it working. Only use CCC myself.

Where is that option? I'm using ATT and can't find it on my x800.

It's under advanced tweaks/CCC. It probably won't do anything for you anyway since you're using an X800... I didn't notice any other entries not working on my x800 system.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure 6.9 changed a bunch of registry options so ATT no longer affects them like it did in the past.

It's not 6.9. Goes back farther than that for sure.

BTW a lot of the registry entries are the exact same. But the values are different. Example, vsync, instead of being a string value, is now a binary value, etc etc....

But the driver recognizes both the old and new values for everything except OpenGL hq af....
